Volunteers play an important role in the care Adventist Health Howard Memorial provides to its patients and the community. Positions offer flexible hours and the opportunity to work with a wide variety of departments in the hospital. Volunteers enjoy greeting patients and visitors and delivering books and flowers to patients. Other opportunities include spiritual care services, helping in the Commonwealth Garden, clerical work, creating care packages for patients, and fundraising for medical center equipment. Volunteers are a wonderful group of people who selflessly give their time to serve others and their community.
