Enhancing lives for children and adults through community programs. Assistance League is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization that identifies, develops, and supports ongoing philanthropic efforts to improve the lives of children and adults in our community. Assistance League's programs continue to expand as chapters recognize local challenges and implement the right solutions. They conduct community needs assessments to design programs that meet those needs. With a century of experience and well-funded programs, Assistance League chapters are key contributors to communities across the country. “I joined as a founding member because I wanted to give back to my community; I stayed because this is a wonderful organization.
