Habitat for Humanity Calaveras

If you have a caring heart and hands doing good and would like to make a difference, Habitat for Humanity Calaveras offers you volunteer opportunities to build and repair homes for low-income families. You will find with us a solid team of those who care about their neighbors and want to make the world a better place. Habitat homes are built with 70% volunteer labor. Construction volunteers work alongside our dedicated construction team, crew leader volunteers, and partner families to help us build Habitat houses. Construction volunteer opportunities take place Wednesday-Saturday and a full-day commitment from 8:00 AM -2:00 PM is required. Habitat for Humanity was established in 1976 and was founded on Christian principles. Habitat for Humanity Calaveras has been serving Calaveras County since 1994. Since our founding, we have built 20 houses and repaired hundreds of homes. Today, we are actively building and repairing homes throughout Calaveras County. We are governed by a Board of Directors. We welcome and rely on volunteers from the community to implement our programs. OUR MISSION To build and repair homes for income-qualified families in Calaveras County.
