Lindsay Wildlife Experience
To connect people with wildlife to inspire responsibility and respect for the world we share.
Description
Lindsay Wildlife Experience is a unique natural history and environmental education center where live, wild animals are just inches away. Founded in 1955 by Alexander Lindsay, Lindsay's programs and services are designed to help people understand human impact on wildlife. More than 5,500 injured or orphaned native California animals are treated at our wildlife hospital every year and 40,000 school children learn about the wonders of nature through classroom programs and tours.
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at Lindsay Wildlife Experience. As COVID-19 precautions have changed, some departments are accepting new volunteers on an individual basis. We are also planning a Volunteer Opportunities Class, which is designed to help you learn more about Lindsay’s many volunteer opportunities and how to get involved based on your skills, interests, and schedule.
