OUR MISSION Pathways LA strengthens low income and vulnerable working families, promote high-quality early learning care and education services for children of all abilities, develop knowledgeable early care providers, and promote economically resilient communities. At Pathways LA, we believe that parents play a crucial role as their child’s first teachers. We are dedicated to supporting parents and caregivers at every step of their parenting journey. Our team of specialists offers personalized assistance to help parents understand and navigate the childcare system, access subsidies, and find licensed childcare providers in their local area. We also provide opportunities for parents to learn more about their child’s development and build family resilience through our Parent Seminars, Play and Learn Groups, Parent Cafes, and Family Events. Pathways LA depends on the effort, commitment, and generosity of community members to help low-income and vulnerable working families in Metro Los Angeles. Our volunteers play a crucial role by providing support at community events, engaging in civil advocacy, and helping distribute essential resources to child care providers and families who are in need.
