Our mission is to develop and sustain one-to-one mentoring relationships that enable youth to realize their full potential. At Big Brothers Big Sisters, we believe that "small moments can create big joy" in a child's life! Research shows the powerful, positive, and lasting impact of mentoring: our Littles are 52% less likely to skip school, 46% less likely to start using illegal drugs, and more likely to foster positive relationships with their families and peers. Becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister is one of the most rewarding experiences you'll ever have. By spending just a few hours a few times a month as a mentor, you can make a BIG difference in a child's life. How It Works: Depending on the program, you might meet your Little in the community, connect via ZOOM, or participate in one of our site-based programs. Littles come from all sorts of backgrounds, some as young as six, others are teenagers. They may live nearby or a few miles away, but they all share a common need: your guidance!
