We strive to create and sustain one-to-one mentoring relationships that open up vast possibilities for youth. At Big Brothers Big Sisters, we know that "little moments lead to big happiness" in a child's life! Research has shown the significant, lasting impact of mentoring: our Littles are 52% less likely to skip school, 46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs, and more likely to have strong relationships with family and friends. Becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister is among the most rewarding and enjoyable things you can do. Spending just a few hours a few times each month mentoring a child can make a BIG difference in their life. How It Works: Depending on the program, you might meet your Little in the community, via ZOOM, or at one of our site-based programs. Littles come from all walks of life, some are as young as six, while others are teenagers. Whether they live nearby or further away, they all share one common need: you!
