Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo County - ReStore South County
If you have a caring heart and hands doing good and would like to make a difference, Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo County - ReStore South County offers you volunteer opportunities to build and repair homes for low-income families. You will find with us a solid team of those who care about their neighbors and want to make the world a better place.
Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo County is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), a non-profit, housing organization that helps people build or improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing creates strength, stability, and self-reliance among residents in local communities. Habitat works in over 70 countries around the world, with 33 affiliates serving California communities. Habitat has built over 500,000 houses around the world, providing 2,500,000 people with safe, decent, affordable shelter.
Habitat SLO County became an affiliate of HFHI in 1997. The following year we acquired our first property in Paso Robles. To date, Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo County has built 17 homes – one in Cambria, four in Atascadero, three in Paso Robles, four in Grover Beach and five in San Luis Obispo. We are currently developing a nine-home project in Paso Robles.
Now more than ever, we need your help. Give today.
