We aim to create and nurture one-to-one mentoring relationships that unlock the greatest potential in youth. At Big Brothers Big Sisters, we know that "little moments can spark big joy" in a child's life! Research shows that mentoring has a deep and lasting impact: our Littles are 52% less likely to skip school, 46% less likely to start using illegal drugs, and more likely to develop strong bonds with family and peers. Becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable experiences you'll ever have. Spending just a few hours mentoring a child a few times a month can have a BIG impact on their life. How It Works: Depending on the program, you may meet your Little in the community, online via ZOOM, or at one of our site-based programs. Littles come from a variety of backgrounds, from as young as six to teenage years. Whether they live close by or further away, they all share a common need: your support!
