Assistance League, a nonprofit led by volunteers, is dedicated to identifying, developing, and funding ongoing philanthropic programs that positively impact children and adults in the community. The strength of Assistance League’s programs lies in the ability of chapters to recognize local challenges and implement targeted solutions. They perform community needs assessments and create programs to meet those needs. With over a hundred years of experience in running effective programs, Assistance League chapters play a crucial role in communities across the country. “I joined as a founding member because I wanted to give back to my community; I stayed because this is a wonderful organization.
