Due Date: 2027-04-13T21:00:00.000Z
Volunteers prepared and delivered meals to residents in southern Stanislaus County. The United Samaritans Foundation's mission to "Feed the Hungry" began in 1994 as a volunteer effort. The Christian spirit of giving comfort to those in need led to the creation of a food program for residents in southern Stanislaus County. Just three years earlier, volunteers at Sacred Heart Church in Turlock had begun a similar food program, Daily Bread Ministry. These programs worked together to reach needy persons in Turlock and surrounding communities. The two volunteer groups merged to streamline their efforts and goals.
