We’re dedicated to preserving California’s native plants and landscapes by combining intellect and passion. CNPS unites science, education, conservation, and gardening to drive the native plant movement forward. Since its inception, the Channel Islands CNPS has been a prominent advocate for plant science and native plant appreciation, establishing itself as one of the leading native plant organizations globally. As a 501(c)3 non-profit, we are committed to protecting California's native plants and their natural environments while promoting understanding, enjoyment, and the horticultural use of native plants. We collaborate with policymakers, scientists, and local planners to support environmentally sound policies, regulations, and land management practices.
