Our purpose is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those in greatest need, to achieve their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. We offer after-school and summer programs for youth aged 6 to 18, focusing on Academic Success, Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles. Our organization provides a safe and encouraging environment where any child can grow and become a valuable member of the community. VOLUNTEERING & ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES Mentoring Program Elementary-age members at risk of falling behind in school are paired with mentors in our Be Great: Graduate program, which tracks Attendance, Behavior, and Class performance. Mentors meet for an hour each week to help with homework and engage in activities. Mentors act as caring adults and role models. We always need volunteers, especially minority males. Club Programming If you have a talent or interest in areas like sports, science, tutoring, or music, our staff can use your help. Whether it’s a one-time or regular commitment, you can assist in providing enriching activities. Special Events We host several events throughout the year, including a Gala Auction, Wine Dinner, Golf Tournament, and Youth of the Year awards. Volunteers are needed for setup and various tasks during the events.
