Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles

Our mission is to create and nurture one-to-one mentoring relationships that inspire youth to reach their full potential. At Big Brothers Big Sisters, we know that "little moments can make a big difference" in a child's life! Research has shown the powerful and lasting impact of mentoring: our Littles are 52% less likely to miss school, 46% less likely to experiment with illegal drugs, and more likely to build strong relationships with family and peers. Becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister is one of the most fulfilling experiences you can have. Just a few hours a few times a month can make a BIG difference in a child's life. How it works: Depending on your program, you may meet your Little in the community, through ZOOM, or through one of our site-based programs. Littles come from a variety of backgrounds, some as young as six years old, others are teenagers. Whether they live nearby or far away, they all have one thing in common: they need you!
