Our organization manages five preschools that serve low and middle-income families, as well as a garden program, in San Diego's North County region. Volunteer and Get Involved Volunteers are a vital part of operations at Growing Minds Early Education Programs.. We truly value the contributions volunteers make to their community through NCCS each and every day. Every month, community members volunteer a total of over 1000 hours across our sites! Here are some examples of what volunteers do at Growing Minds At our preschools, groups of volunteers clean, repaint, and replant gardens. In our main office, volunteers help with data entry, filing, and other office tasks. Many volunteer tasks include extensive bending and lifting; if physical ability is a concern, please let us know so we can assign you with an appropriate volunteer task.
